Should chess really be considered a sport? - I mean, come on.. is there anything at all athletic about it?

- Actually Chess Masters often lose 10-15 lbs. during a match or tournament. Not that I thnk it a sport-I say it's a game!

Trivial Pursuit is an extreme sport, so boring old chess must be a normal one.

- Oh yeah, I've got some big time respect for chess and all.. A fo' real gauge of intelligence I think. Don't nothing make you feel stupider than a good ol' chess ass whopin'. Still though - not a "sport"

- Agreed. No way is that a sport. I think sport may "begin" somewhere around table tennis. ie. requires minimum action.
