I have a pet Goldfish named Spot. For 6 points, can you guess why I named him "Spot"?

As I understand it, "Spot" is a common pet name. Why would anyone think it unusual?

It is gold with black spots. A lot of goldfish have that coloration.

Because you don't have a dog and the goldfish is the closest thing you do have, so you named him "Spot".

- u r very much welcome. :) i used to have a goldfish. then i overfed him and he died lol :) his name was jack. at my school, we have a very large library with fish tanks and a lizard and stuff, and my friends and i named every single fish there bob. we were totally bored lol :D
