I think about that often.
Why am I who I am? Why do I live a life of luxury and ease, compared to a good chunk of the rest of the world?
I've never been hungry a day in my life.
Even on my worst day, I'm very humbled and grateful for my circumstances.
maybe people haven't seen them yet. How long ago did you post them?
Yes that is why I send money!!
Yep, I've wondered that... it would be the fulfillment of a long-time goal of mine to be able to PERSONALLY bring gifts of food and clothes to starving African children from any nation. I would bring my kids, too since it would be an amazingly valuable lesson for them to see what it really means to want and not have.
I've seen video of the kids that get those 'Christmas Children' shoe-boxes full of toys and goodies... it's a magical look in their eyes to receive things we in the Western world would THROW AWAY. Too bad their parents and elders can't seem to come together and make their own countries better places.
Did you see the movie Beyond Borders. It's excellent.
i would feel bad formyself and i would cry all my life
