Stop short at any jokes that intimate the instance of that partner being fat, ugly or a desire to bring death to the partner.

i suppose that would entirely depend on your partner, some women just cannon't take any ribbing or joking, same for guys, but it does seem guys can take this a bit better then most women. Their are some women that can take a bit of ribbing, but i haven't met very many.
