  • Sometimes people are leery. It's interesting, because most of the people who think that actually could go to my church and be happy and comfortable. :)
  • I wouldn't classify someone who goes to church as a religious fanatic. But if that is their primary topic of conversation, or if they go around quoting scriptures to people, or use "God's word" as justification to put down others, then I would consider them a fanatic.
  • No. But I am never "in your face" about what I believe. I think it is a private matter and no one's business but mine. I don't try to proselytize and I don't insist that my way is better or the "only" way so I don't set myself up as a target. :)
  • I could see a sparkle in their eyes as they suddenly ASSUMED they knew how to upset or offend me.

  • sure but then again we don't go knocking on doors trying to sell our religions or our beliefs like a lot of evangelicals, now i'm not calling you one, but i think that this is why you people of faith get a bad rep.
