  • I've had some very lost weekends in a mountain cabin.
  • It was more like a "lost two weeks" I think, sm00z. I had just got back home from Vietnam. I left a place where I was being shot at daily and went to place where I was processed out of the military and sent home all in the time frame of one week. You want to talk about culture shock? (lol) Well, My Old Man was a pretty cool guy. He had been there, himself. After all the obligatory greetings and home coming congratulations, he got me away to the mountains and he and I spent a couple of weeks just getting re-aquainted and letting me unwind. An older brother and a cousin and uncle showed up and we had quite a "reunion"....(smile). Anyway, I remember the best parts, but a lot is kind of a blur. But I was better for it. I got re-adjusted pretty fast and got enrolled in college soon after. It worked out.
  • I vaguely remember a trip to New Orleans when I was in college. Drank for 24 hours straight at one point. Recently, I was in Luxemburg trying to get back to Germany and wound up in Belgium. That's pretty lost when you wind up in the wrong country.
  • Well, shure an Johnny boi, if I knew that it wouldn't be lost, now would it.
  • The one after my husband died....
  • This one's got a chance to be the "best" ever....
  • Not just a weekend my friend. Months. It was when my Dad died. It was a time of a foggy sadness and it took me about six months to get back to "normal". He was only 55 and took his usual afternoon nap before going to work and he never awoke. This was in 1960 and I remember it vividly as if it were yesterday. That was a lost six months for me.
  • Yeah................I got nothin'. That's forgotten.
  • Look up `Ruigoord` on the internet. I lost a few days of my live over there..
