I know that we both are.
I was 11 when "All I Have to do is Dream" was released and 13 when "Cathy's Clown" was:
I'm easily old enough to remember them, in fact I probably saw this when it was originally broadcast in Britain.
Bye bye love
Bye bye happiness
Hello loneliness
I think I'm gonna die
Bye bye my love goodbye.....
but who remembers?
Living in nashville, and age 65, i grew up with the Everly Brothers. Col. Parker was never happy with their haromonizing on their records. the Col. wanted each song to be absolutely perfect. "Dream" was one song that the harmony was 99% perfect. "Claudette" was not so good. All in all, in addition to Elvis, Col. Parker made a lot of money off these two artists. Col. Parker lived close to my house in nashville. glad you asked this question.
"Unchained Melody"! <I know, Marky Mark! You're "rolling" your eyes> Oops! Do I have them mixed up with another "bros."? LOL
