Have u ever just felt like, the one for you, that fairytale ending, the guy you've waited for since you were a lil girl.... that... he's maybe just not out there?

Call me crazy but I believe in true love, I believe that there is one person for you. However I also believe that you need so much patience with waiting for it. Too many people I know are too keen to get married and settle down that they do it with anyone. Then they get divorced, it happens so much that I feel people are losing hope.

I have been married to the man I love for 23 years. It has not been a fairytale. We ague, we hurt sometimes, we clean toilets and take out the trash.

Definitely. I still don't believe it is out there. For some, yes. For me, no. I come with more baggage than its fair to expect anybody to be able to deal with.

Of course! I know that there is no 'fairy tale' guy out there for me. The whole idea of everyone having one soulmate, one person who is "THE ONE"... it's utterly ridiculous!! How many people on earth? Billions. So what's the mathematical chance that you're going to some day accidentally bump into the one person, out of all of those billions, who is "meant" for you... Statistically speaking, there have to be quite a few guys out there who are acceptable matches, but I'd think that it's unlikely that there is ONE who is PERFECT for you in every way, who feels the same way about you, and who happens to be one of the very few people out of the billions on Earth that you will actually meet...

I'm content with the guy I have. Sure, it's not a fairy tale romance, sure, he isn't prince charming, and I'm happy with that, because I'm not a complete idiot.
