My friend told me that she sometimes showers with her dog...is this a common thing?

I put on swim trunks when I bathe the cat. I fill the tub up and sit in there with her cleaning her up, playing with some of her toys with her and making sure she's absolutely clean. Nails, tail, ears, you name it.. she LOVES it!

Probably not a common thing but oh well. :)

I DO bathe the dogs this way, but maybe your friend has back problems? That's the reason I do it. My back KILLS me when I am bent over the tub, so I get in with one at a time and get the job done. My back still hurts a lot, but not nearly as badly as the other way. +5

I give my dog a seperate bath i have never tried to bathe with her she isn't fond of takin a bath!!!!

Not common here at my home, they both get their own bath and all the the attention that's comes with bath time.
But hey whose to say what's common- people do all kinds of things behind close doors they don't tell about. No biggie thou if they do-------
But still not common here in my neck of the woods.
