    It's never a good idea to buy stolen goods. You could be charged with criminal possession of stolen property and/or receiving stolen property. If the criminals can't find a buyer for the things he/she steals, eventually they'll stop. It doesn't mean they won't do something else to get the money. It will give them one less option. One of the easier options.
