Yeah it would hurt, as your whole body would be hanging from your neck. I'm not sure if you've ever been strangled, or tried it, but it isn't comfortable at all. Don't do it man.

Not me. One of my best friends just hung himself and I'm trying to deal with it. I know he was intoxicated and wouldn't have done it without the alcohol. I've been depressed at times myself but I can't believe he actually went through with it. I want to think maybe it was an accident but who "accidently" hangs themselves right? And I hear the majority of people dont suceed the first try. Who knows maybe he's tried it before and finally mastered it. I feel Partly like I could've done something and so does everyone else but I know there is nothing anyone could've done.

I'm sorry for your loss. Try to not dwell on what he did, focus on more who he was before he hung himself. Im not sure but it might help you.

It's so hard not to dwell and ask why?! The funeral is soon and people are going around saying horrible things. I guess time will help....thank you.
