Wasn't it something to with Ronald Reagan daring or challenging Gorbachev ( sorry for mis-spelling) to "tear down this wall"? my memory is a little hazy but i'm 80% sure it was something to that effect!! I like to think that 'common-sense' prevailing had a lot to do with it aswell. +5
