I am allowed 2 timed release pills a day. Can I take the 2nd pill after 5 hours?

No.

Those things stick around for 12 hours.

Now, if you WANT to risk an overdose then go right ahead. Just be warned that OD-ing on some things may cause side effects such as death.

shouldnt do that. if it says twice a day that is every twelve hours. Like 8am or what ever time you take the first.Take the next same time Pm.it keeps the level of medication in the bloodstream level.
