215 is the tread width measured in mm
55 is the sidewall height (rim to tread) 55% of the tread width
r is radial
16 is rim size
h is speed rating 122mph
400 is a high tread wear (hard compund)
aa traction is above average (not best though)
a temp rating aaa is the best
Engine has had slipping sensation lately. Today it jerked, slipped, & check engine light came on. Then it died. Did restart. Thoughts?

Will 215/75/r15 work instead of 235/75/r15 for a E150 Van?
Looking for used set of 235's but so far I can't find them. Did find good 215's.
