voltage is the potential difference in charge when two bodies are connected by a mettalic conductor.
to put it into perspective it is the amout of umph ! the moving charge that is current can deliver.

I have a pantech phone . I had it for a while now but out of no where it turns off and dont wanna turn on unless if I am charging it ?

My phone charges and it'll charge for hours on end and then it comes off the charger and it says battery low. Do I need to get a new phone?
