    they want to cover all the bases. they always tell me to get a urine test. i always say, i cant piss on command. I wont do it. its hard enough showing up to give blood.

    I think doctors are so worried about getting sued for malpractice that they sometimes order tests for things that the patient is very unlikely to have. Thank you lawyers.

    Yes but some do not even know about the appropriate test and solutions. Unfortunately some Doctors do not keep up their education. They are unfamiliar with the newest techniques.

    I think some doctors preform what seem like unecessary tests in order to make sure that they're right and not actually missing something.

    I think many do especially when medicaid or other insurance plans are covering the cost...they call you back in for unnessecary appointments and prescribe you brand name medicine at higher cost because they get kickbacks from grug companys +5
