Talk to your doctor or a nutritionist. There is a lot of information on the internet, but your doctor has many years of training and education that will help you sift through the information and tell you what is and isn't BS, and how to most effectively use them. And if you don't think your doctor would support you taking supplements, then you probably shouldn't. It also depends on what you want the supplements for - are you wanting to boost muscle mass or are you vegetarian looking for not meat sources of protein.. there might be a better way to achieve your goal
