When you are fired mid-way through a contract but not for malfeasance do you get the balance of the contract money?

isn't it unfair that "at will" employee's can be fired without reason but we are expected to give 2 week notice if we want to quit

You're reading Am about to get a verbal warning for a completely seperate issue from the original final written warning. Does this mean i will be fired. I have the details of the legislation from the employers hand book if required...
