Everytime I feel this way about a group like doctors or lawyers or police or anything, God sends me a great person in that guise. I've learned to stop judging everyone based on a few. There are a lot of crap doctors out there but there are just as many amazing healers. Good luck.

There are all different types of doctors in the world. From those that teach at major universaries, to those that practice medicine, dentists, chiropractors, eye specialists. It is unfair to lump them all together and say you hate all of them.

Absolutely NOT! Had doctors not been around when my son was born 32 years ago, he would not be alive today! Had doctors not been there when my granddaughter was born 5 months ago in respirtory distress, I wouldn't be holding her now. I'm walking now because the doctor was able to operate and set my broken legs. I could go on and on...like the police and firemen, I count the doctor as my friend!

I hate doctors. All their untested medicines and careless, unnecessary surgeries for sake of money.
Unfortunately my mom is a nurse and has already lost one job as it is. If people went on strike right now we would be screwed. Wait until I am doing better.

I like doctors, have known several. They are generally quite ethical, their time in school is at least double that of virtually all other professions*; they train hard afterwards and then go to work keeping people comfortable and alive.

They are among the smartest people in the world - they have to be as the schooling is incredibly demanding. And they are among the most dedicated of people. Once out of school they have to continue to learn new techniques and procedures. They also get calls in the middle of the night and have to drive to the hospital to take care of patients who aren't doing well.

They are of course human beings and thus imperfect. And there are some among them who are negligent and even criminal. But there is a reason you read stories about such people. This is because such stories are shocking. And they are shocking because they are the exception. If doctors routinely botched operations and killed people we would be used to it.

not me...i don't hate doctors ,i just hate the kind of doctors most are today....uncompassionate and more concerned with the money than helping people.....
America can strike the costs of dr.s today. the costs of meds. and the costs of hospitals, and insurance.....its being fought for now....
