To the person posting the following answer to my question and cowardly deleting it later,(You know who you are):
"Its a small mexican hellhole full of diabetes and rats".
I would like to say:
1. Guatemala isn't a part of Mexico. It's a country. An independent nation since 1821.
2. I don't even think you have the intelligence to know what diabetes means, let alone what causes it.
3. I won't even bother with the "rats" comment.

Guatemala and it's people aren't perfect, I know that. We have a lot of problems.(Then again show me a 100% problem-free country) But IT IS a beautiful country with much to offer.

I haven't but would love to own a place down there so I could stay 4 months out of the year.I like the tropics.
