    Hitachi Construction Machinery TIERRA manufacturers Hinomoto tractors. Originally, in the 1950s, Toyosha, based in Japan, used the trade name Hinomoto for its tractors. Hitachi purchased Toyosha in 1990. Later in 1997, Hitachi changed the name of the company to TIERRA. Today, Hitachi Construction Machinery TIERRA exports Hinomoto tractors to markets around the globe.
