    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

In April 2007, cost helper.com reported that the average cost of removing a large tree was between $400 and $1,400, depending on the size and type of tree and the services provided. Tree removal estimates may or may not include stump removal (which typically adds about $200 to the price), stump grinding, root removal, branch cutting and branch hauling.
