Help answer this question below.

I have a Sanyo DVD/VCR player. I had a VHS tape in it and all of a sudden it flashed ERR on the front LCD panel and turned itself off. The DVD part seemed to working but it shut itself off before you could watch anything. The tape would not eject. HELP
