The first step when using Proactiv is the renewing cleanser that is rubbed into moist skin, and then rinsed with warm water. The benzoyl peroxide unclogs pores and attacks the bacteria that causes acne.
Revitalizing Toner
The second step is the revitalizing toner that is applied using a cotton ball or pad. The alcohol-free formula balances your skin tone while cleaning the dead skin cells.
Repairing Treatment
Finally, apply a pea-sized amount of repairing treatment, and allow it to dry without rinsing. Benzoyl peroxide is again utilized to clear your pores of any remaining bacteria, heal existing blemishes and prevent acne from reforming on your skin.
How to Use
Follow the three-steps morning and night daily for about 6 to 8 weeks. If you have any reactions to Proactiv it is advised that you discontinue use and contact your physician immediately.
