Criminal records that contain offenses are removed when the person dies, turns 100 years old, is 80 years old and crime-free for 10 years or a sentence is complete and the person has been crime-free for 10 years. In the case of stays, withdrawn charges or acquittals, the charges will remain on record until the accused files a request with the police to have them removed.
