Light Emitting Diodes are energy-efficient light bulbs. LED light bulbs used to be strictly for single-bulb usage, but recently manufacturers have begun to create clustered LED bulbs using as many as 180 bulbs per cluster. LED light bulbs shine longer than most incandescent light bulbs. You are less likely to replace an LED light bulb because it shines 10 times longer than a compact fluorescent bulb. LED light bulbs create 3.4 BTUs per hour, reducing the cost of home air conditioning. LEDs do not result in heat build-up, unlike incandescent bulbs, which produce 85 BTUs per hour. LED light bulbs are more efficient , since they use two to 10 watts of electricity. Unlike regular incandescent bulbs, which are easily breakable, LED light bulbs do not have a filament, increasing durability. When you use an LED light bulb, you save money in replacement and maintenance costs. LED lights may cost more than other lights bulbs. However in the long run you, you get your money back with fewer replacements.Last Longer

They are the most energy-efficient lighting option available: 10 times as efficient as old-fashioned incandescent and halogen bulbs, and up to twice as efficient as fluorescents.
They last longer than any other bulb: up to 50 times longer than incandescents and 5 times longer than CFLs.
You can use waterproof LED lighting outdoors, in rain, snow, and any other weather.
They are compact: LED strip lighting and LED light bars are commonly half an inch wide and a quarter of an inch deep, and strips can be cut to a custom length, so they'll fit almost anywhere.
And they're available in a rainbow of colors. RGB LED fixtures usually can be controlled so you can choose one color or multiple colors. You can even get remote control LED color fixtures!
LEDs are the future.
Less Migrains for ME!
They may be less hazardous to the environment when disposed as compared to fluorescents and do not implode when broken creating dangerous glass fragments.
The operational life of current white LED lamps is 100,000 hours,This is 11 years of continuous operation, or 22 years of 50% operation, 80% efficiency, which means 80% of the electrical energy is converted to light energy, In real money terms, if a 100 Watt incandescent bulb is used for 1 year, with an electrical cost of 10 cents/kilowatt hour, $88 will be spent on electricity costs. Of the $88 expense, $70 will have been used to heat the room, not light the room. If an 80% efficient LED system had been used, the electricity cost would be $23 per year - there would be a cost savings of $65 on electricity during the year. Realistically the cost savings would be higher as most incandescent light bulbs blow out within a year and require replacements whereas LED light bulbs can be used easily for a decade without burning out.
