    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, computer technicians made an average of $41,470 in 2006. The lowest 10 percent made less than $25,290 while the highest 10 percent made more than $68,540. Various factors influence salary, including location, level of experience and the industry in which you work.
