Open paint (I assume MS paint) Select the "A" button (Font/typing tool) draw a square. Another window should open up that includes font type, size, language (western (usually)) B I U (Bold, Italics, Underline) If that pop-up window did not come up then go up to the menu bar click "View" and make certain there is a check mark next to Text Tool bar - if there is not one click on Text Tool bar and that tool bar should pop-up. From there I assume you know what to do.

Select the type tool in the left menu bar. You have to set your size of the font before you start typing.
