Do you think todays statistics accurately reflect the jobless rate? If they get stats from people that did file from unemp. what about those that did not file?

    My wife isn't employed in the job market because she wishes to be a stay-at-home Mom.

    She doesn't fit the description of someone who is "unemployed" and therefore shouldn't be counted. There are many other people who also shouldn't be counted for similar reasons.

    However, I do agree that there are those looking for jobs who do need to be counted.

    No, they aren't counting the ones who can't collect anymore because they ran out of benefits and are still jobless.
