if all of the brakes are new the metal parts are vibrating against each other
like a bell ringing
it's harmless
you just won't know when the pads are worn out
It may be the type of brake pads that you bought, but you also may try silicone brake compound spread a thin coat over the back of the pads, also lube the slides with the same compound. It is also a great idea to turn the rotors or replace with new if not machineable to make them true and give the pad a fresh seat to wear in evenly and properly.

Everywhere rotors are called brake discs, except North America, why is that, as they do not rotate?

It shouldn't harm anything
if you do it goes in between the brake pad and the caliper
