RGB displays actually use RGB colors. Go figure.
(at least that's how I understand it)

No. For light, and all CRTs, LCDs, plasma or other types of displays, it's Red, green and blue. Additive Color Mixing.

For print, it's CMKY (or CMYK). Cyan, Magenta, Key, and Yellow.
Subtractive color mixing.
