I do not think that would be a great idea it would mean higher interest rates an d much higher cost of living which has already risen a lot in Australia.
Not sure the Australian government wants that to happen as it will affect the price of Australian exports.Canada has had the same concerns and has interfered in the nature of the increase and sent it back to the mid 90 cent range.They most likely can't keep it there but are sure to try.
I don't know what will happen, I really have no clue.
I've been watching it though. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens.

The same person has DRd every answer for the last 15 minutes with -2s. I know who it is and have reported it to Feedback. if it goes on I will contact Rich and see what he does. The person has a low 70s rating so it is to be expected they do not know where the plus button is :)
