You should probably go to a sleep clinic. I just spoke to a good friend of mine that had similar problems and she was diagnosed with sleep apnea and asthma. The low amount of oxygen she was getting was not only depriving her of REM sleep, but taxing her heart as well.
It could be a number of things, so we can't really give you an 100% answer. I would go for a physical if I were you. Be sure to get your iron levels, thyroid levels and bloodsugar levels checked. Get complete bloodwork, if possible. Many things contribute to fatigue: hypothyroidism, anemia, diabetes, sleep apnea, the list goes on...
Go get checked out.
It seems like you have a problem. The average adult needs around 8-9 hours of sleep per night. While this is different for all people, 14 hours of sleep is WAY above average, and is probably unhealthy. That, plus the 1-3 additional hours of sleep you are getting during the day makes me worry. You mention that you sleep walk... perhaps you sleep so much, and still feel tired, because you have a very poor quality sleep.
I cannot give you a definitive answer, as I am not a doctor, but I strongly suspect that there is something wrong. You should see a doctor, and get a referral to a sleep clinic. The people there will watch you sleep, and monitor what your brain is doing. They can probably give you an answer, and help for your problem.
it appears staying up all night just once fixed the problem, my brain needed to "reset"
It's not oversleep guys, I already checked that, I was sleeping for the next 18 hours straight after I tested that.
I think you're sleepwalking because you sleep way too much!!!! You may be suffering from Anemia.
go for walks twice a day, morning and evening. put some fresh air in your lungs. get excited about something. light the fire in your body. run while you are out for a walk. your metabolism is LOW...you need to turn it on and up.
I would really suggest talking to your doctor about that if you already haven't.You could have a sleeping disorder. You may just be sleeping too much though. Here's a site with information on sleeping disorders and problems.Hope it helps.
See a doctor who can refer you to a sleep lab.
You should not sleep more than 9 hours per night. Getting more sleep than usual per night actually is not good for your body. Try to avoid eating/exercising at least 2 hours before sleeping, and make sure your room is completely dark to get the full benefits of REM sleep, which result in you feeling more restful during the day. I would also recommend eating a small bowl of hot steamed short-grain rice about ~3-4 hours before sleeping. About the sleepwalking, you should consult a doctor.

You're reading I get 14 hours of sleep at night, and 1-3 during the day and I'm still very very tired even in the early night (6PM). I sleep on a good mattress, in a good position, and I don't eat right before I sleep, what's wrong? I also sleepwalk a lot for some rsn.
