Taking the previous answer in to account (he is right on the money with it) Don't forget to look at a back up solution for important documents. Hard drives crash all the times for various reasons...I would mark this one down as really lucky!
You're probably OK -- a crash due to violence is often just going to scratch one section of the disk. If you reinstalled the operating system, it would likely check the disk and mark those sections unusable, so it works around them. There's no reason to believe you have permanent mechanical damage to the drive other than the scratches on the magnetic surface.
If you're nervous, open a command prompt and type "chkdsk c: /f" to force a check of the entire drive. When you reboot, it will take a long time but perhaps allay anxieties.

You're reading I have a Dell Vostro 1500. I dropped it harder than usual, and the next time I turned it on the OS wouldn't load. Hard drive crash. I reinstalled everything, it finally took. Questions...will the hard drive crash again? Should I get it looked at by a pro?
