  • I get that too sometimes. Its pretty much like a razor rash. when I first start to shave, shave in the direction the hair grows. then when youve got a nice close shave, use a little more shaving cream and shave he opposite direction just to get the last little bit. I also reccomend using a non-scented moisturizer on the area afterwards.
  • I get those bumps on my neck when I shave with lather or shave cream. But when I shave in the shower under running water the problem does not arise.
  • Use lukewarm, not hot water. Shave gently, do not push-down hard. Do not try to shave too closely. When you're done, use some 1% hydrocortisone cream on the area. Good luck.
  • that's razor burn or irritation from your clothes. Try waxing
  • I have shaved my pubic area completely since I was a teenager. Maybe I'm just used to shaving there but I don't get razor burn or bumps. I do remember getting razor burn when I first started shaving but it was years ago. After 20 years my skin may just be used to it. I also shave in the shower and that may have something to do with it.
  • when i shaved down there i would get razor burn also. after shaveing for a while it just seems to stop. i started as a young teen about 14 i am now 35 and wax because it lasts so much longer.
