Would it be okay to buy a pet snake if your kind of afraid of them?

    You should really work with someone who has a snake or at a pet store to get rid of your fear. Or as much of it as you can. Snakes get there exersise when you take them out and let them move around so it really isn't fair to them to put them in a cage and leave them alone cuz you are scared of them. Some snakes are the exception and should be looked at rather then touched like a green tree python. They are pretty but have nasty teeth. Even at that fear isn't a good thing since you will still have to remove the snake for cleaning.

    Snakes make great pets. Besure you have read up on all the info about the snake you are considering getting. An agressive Anaconda, for example, would be a horrible choice for someone remotely afraid. So is a Ball Python (Monty Pythons will do just fine, wink).

    I would suggest something eazy and attractive like a Corn Snake or a Racer.

    Be Aware that snake poop of any breed will stink up your living space. And your electric bill will go up.
