Is the new series of V any good?

As in many show of this kind there is more there than most people actually see or understend.

there were a number of references made of a one world government and socialized medicine. If you understand the shadow government and its push for a one world government as did papa Bush during the Gulf War. The United nations a very big player in the One world movement was also portrayed by the space ship. they also pushed heavily on socialized medicine...Also the thing about the reptilian creatures can be seen as the "wolf in sheeps clothing" idea..looks good from the outside but beware of the inside.

There many hidden things in this progeam if you know what to listen for and see.

I have not watched it all yet, but I was interested in what I seen so far. I'll set it on the DVR to give it a chance.

I haven't had a chance to watch the whole premier but I am very interested in the program. Did any of you realize that "V" is actually a remake of an old show from the 80's called "Visitors"?

It is hard to judge any show based on one episode, but I liked it. I don't know that I will be someone who will watch it weekly, but I don't do that with very many shows, unless you include sporting events. +3

Hmm, I'm watching it but I can't help feeling that it hasn't really grabbed the bull by the horns. I also cringe when they call the visitors "Vs." Yes we like to abbreviate things, but that sounds almost like a term of endearment - appropriate for characters that like them perhaps, but not for the resistance.

It's a remake of an 80's show, but it looks a lot like Earth Final Conflict. I liked it.

I haven't seen more than about 5 minutes of the original miniseries, so I can't compare the two. I like this one. Looking at it on it's own merits, it is a good show, with high production value, good casting, and a well-written plot.

My only problem with the show is the look of the V leader Anna. I want to know why the producers thought it would be good to have the absolutely beautiful Morena Baccarin cut her gorgeous hair so short.
