Only the airport. On approach and landing I thought it looked the way I imagined the moon would look. This was 30 years ago.

Never been to Iceland. I've only been to the US and Canada.

It's a country of wild, rugged beauty. Everywhere is black volcanic rock, there are amazing waterfalls, glaciers and active geysers,I only visited Reykjavik and the south but it was certainly very impressive. A lot of people speak English there but the thing that put me off and will disuade me from visiting again was that it was very expensive.
