No!! Don't touch it, and if you do wash your hand thoroughly. Cold Sores are in the family of herpes. Buy medicine for it and it will go away on it's on. It can spread to other areas that you don't know of, but will down the road when another one breaks out in a different location.

It's going to hurt, and since it's caused by a virus, there's a good chance you'll only make it bigger and nastier.
