What is the "good morning" exercize for the lower back? Is this the best one for lower back?

    Be careful with any lower back exercises......
    Lie flat on the floor( face down) and lift alternate arm and opposite leg for 30 secs at a time.
    Otherwise straightenupaustralia.com.au (i am not affiliated, or a specialised authortiy on back pain)
    The above one worked for me

    Saluting the Sun (a Yoga sequence) is great for the back. I have found it to be helpful if done daily, and it helps to stretch out the pain first thing in the morning.
