Yes. A 26 year old girl who was otherwise healthy died a couple of weeks ago (there are about 35000 people in my city). That motivated me to get the vaccine.

Yes! I had no idea until I was talking to a friend's mom who's a nurse, we've had 2 deaths in just the last few weeks!

Nope. H1N1 has killed what, 3000... 4000 people globally? According to the CDC, the common flu that we've all come to know and love kills 250,000 to 500,000 people yearly. Media scare tactics are a funny thing.

As far as I know, I don't believe anyone in my area has died, although I know quite a few people who have had it. It was passed around in my school for a while, and one person even got it and didn't even know she had it until about a week after she was better. Whatever we have in our area seems to be fairly weak.

yes. We had an elementary school student die from it but I am not sure how many more from this area.

No but the In laws and their kids had it a month ago.

Yes. There have been 5 deaths from H1N1 so far this year. The most recent was in Fayette County, PA. There have been two deaths in Allegheny County, one in Butler County and one in nearby Morgantown, West Virgina.

Around five people have died in my city. Last one was a 12 year old boy who died in less than 48 hours after contracting it. It was a severe case.

yes the lady next door to me just died nov. 11 from the swine flu it has me scared because i have a chest cold, weezing, and a bad cough but i don't have any fever
