Is there a left-handed violin? I am right-handed but my left arm can't turn enough to play comfortably, so i don't know if i should quit or not.

Yes there is. Worst case scenario you can turn the violin to the right side and change the strings in its mirror image... A friend of mine did this, not only with his violin but with his guitar too and he had no problem.

Sure, it will be a bit confusing for a non-left handed person, but for you it will be like the real deal.

I wouldn't give up. If you have the aptitude and determination you can enjoy playing music no matter what. Good luck!

I believe that there are left hand violins ...

The best thing to do is to discuss this with an insturment store .. or your Orchestra leader .. +5

It really hurts when i try to play long periods of time, though, and i can't reach the G or D strings.
