Anyone with a fraction of a brain knows that is not true, that we are all equally capable of racism. Why I do not believe that only one group can be racist? I have a functional brain.

There are a few nutjobs out there who say "only whites are racist," "only minorities are racist," "only blacks are racist." Yes, I have heard ALL of them.

Clearly not. In the atlanta mayoral race, a White woman was leading for the first time in decades. They were interviewing Atlantans about their reaction, and most of the Black voters said that race wasn't of any import to them, they cared who could do the best job for the city. But several said that they felt that since the majority of the voters in the city are black, they should elect a black no matter who is better qualified. That's racism, pure and simple.

it's true that only whites can be racist if you are an ultra-liberal who believes in holding the hands of immigrants as they cross the border and that you have to be able to wield power to be racist.

People from any race are capable of racism. If you have a gripe with someone, and your problem is solely based on the color of that person's skin or their race, you are being racist.

Without revealing what my race is, I think I can categorically say that there are people from every single race on earth (including mine) who have prejudiced feelings against people from another race (or maybe even multiple other races). They may not be many such people in number in every race, or their prejudice may not be to an extreme degree, but people like that exist everywhere.

Thankfully, I think things are slowly changing for the better, partly perhaps because of technologies like the internet that brings the world closer together.
