You're reading How to give someone a big warm smile which looks real, not fake. I try to smile at my friends but it looks mechanical

How can it be genuine? Its really very difficult to give a genuine smile

a genuine smile is a smile that simply isn't thought about. In example, when someone compliments you or holds the door for you, your natural reaction is to smile and you may not notice that you are until you stop. That's a genuine smile. I suggest that you think about something funny one of your friends has said or done. You could even bring it up when you're with them, which will surely be entertaining, and seeing them smile should bring a natural grin out of you too :)
