Believe it or not, I just had appliance repairmen here this morning for just that problem. It was a defective oven/bake/broil ignitor. They adjusted the flame level on the stove burners as well. To the tune of $154.40.

Hey thriftymaiid, stick to cleaning tolits. I found the answer in a time life appliance repair book i had. The correct answer is a bad flame switch, spark igniter, fuse or glow bar. Best to call a service repair man.

You are not going to get an answer. By the way, my car is making noise, what is that?
