  • I've been on the Norfolk VA and Pensacola FL Naval bases. I was there visiting my son.
  • I've been on a couple of dozen army and air force bases, a couple of navy shore bases, several frigates and one submarine. I wasn't in the military, but I can't say what I was doing at these places.
  • I served at 4: San Diego, CA; Great Lakes, IL; Norfolk, VA; and Newport, RI Naval bases.

  • Probably a dozen. Various events, consulting engagements, "civic leader programs" and I belonged to an officers club and would eat there. Even been inside the Cheyenne Mountian Complex and flown on some Air Force missions.
  • I visited one in Germany on what they call "Girl's Day" its kind of like take your daughter to work day but instead of going with your parents you go to a local work place and I picked the base. It was a really cool experience, we got to get in a tank and learn to assemble and break down an M-16 and hang out with the soldiers who all called me "Die Amie Spione" It was so much cooler than learning about the filing system at my moms office.

  • I was stationed at Clark AB, PI; Ellsworth AFB, SD; Castle AFB, CA and was TDY or at school at Lackland AFB, TX; Chanute AFB, IL; Osan AB, SK; Kadena AB, JP and Keesler AFB, MS. What a great time! Don't regret a minute of it.
