Fans of a band. I think the Chicago Cubs are the perfect example of how the latter is entirely untrue. The 102nd time is a charm, right?

Those of a band. Professional athletes are going to to be paid their millions with or without support. I think it's funny how fans of the Seattle Seahawks are essentially cheering themselves, waving flags and wearing memorabilia that references the "12th man" (the 12th man being the fan in addition to the 11 men on the field).

Equal. a fan is a fan is a fan. The real answer of success is in the money. Money spent on CDs, sports memrobilia, and admission tickets.
