Most of the standard homebrew recipes are for 5 gallon batches. It would probably be easier to use 2, 5 gallon containers for a double batch. +5
I went to a local police auction and bought a couple of kegs. I use them as cooking and fermentation vessels for larger batches of my favorite chocolate cream oatmeal stout.
If I took a flare to a football match and lit it up, what would happen to me?

Yeah, I could do that. I found a demijohn that goes up to 15 gallons, but that's probably a bit much. +6
