most certainly! and they are a good source of protein. However there might be a few exceptions but I wouldnt know which ones. Chocolate covered grasshoppers are a delicacy at some places in the world.

In many countries, they are on the menu, at least amongst the poor, as they can be a source of protein. eg if you look at the New Testament, John the Baptist is described as eating "locusts and wild honey" (Mark 1:6) In Bali, the farmers will cook grasshoppers. I have heard of cockroaches eaten in Thailand. Many insect larvae are also eaten eg witjuti grubs amongst the Australian Aborigines.

I've had ants, grasshoppers, and mealworms. I hear termites and aphids are also pretty tasty.
