I have not noticed it but it could be due to this being an internet forum, spelling is not vital to the understanding of the meaning, however! If a maths answer is required then a failure in the maths results in a failure in the answer, thus a bad answer.

A math mistake can be important if you're answering a "homework" question. I once realized I did that and "fessed up" immediately, giving the correct answer as a comment. +5
